An orphaned Miqo'te trying to find her place in the world with her friends, new and old, along the way.
Recently started working in Ishgard at the Skysteel Manufactory. She quickly finds her way as a skilled inventor and marksman, well known in her trade.

HISTORY
ORIGIN
On a warm summer night, a dark haired miqo'te was born a part of the M tribe located in Gyr Abania. Upon closer inspection, she looked nothing like the tribe's Nuhn or her mother. The tribe's elders quickly realized that the young miqo'te was born from a forbidden relationship. In order to prevent a weak bloodline, the elders of the tribe commanded the mother to end her own daughter's life or be exiled from the tribe.The mother agreed to the task, although she was not able to go through with it. She instead took her to the nearby city of Ala Mhigo, placing the bundled up infant outside of a small home, housed by a young highlander woman. Once alone, the infant began to cry, alerting the inhabitant of the home. The young woman rushed outside to find the crying child with nothing else but a note. Upon closer inspection, the tear stained note bore a name: M'yaako Kyhr.Her new mother understood nothing of miqo'te tribes or their culture but out of respect for M'yaako's birth mother, she decided to keep the name.
THE FALL OF ALA MHIGO
M'yaako, now a young child, and her adoptive mother end up displaced due to the Garlean conquering of Ala Mhigo. Upon arriving in Ul'dah, her adoptive mother succumbs to her injuries she received while fleeing, leaving M'yaako, once again, an orphan.M'yaako spends the rest of her childhood in an orphanage, often overlooked as a refugee of Ala Mhigo.As an adult, M'yaako has developed very few skills or connections, leaving her to become a beggar once leaving the orphanage.
FAITHFUL ROAD
Things are finally looking up for M'yaako once she is taken in by a safe house providing her work, shelter, and new friends. The Faithful Road, a home intended to house victims of abuse, former slaves, or just anyone down on their luck.Here she meets some of her closest friends and begins working all sorts of odd jobs for the organization.Eventually the Faithful Road disbands, and everyone goes their separate ways. Desperate to avoid life on the streets again, M'yaako must figure something out.
LIFE IN ISHGARD
An Elezen man stands in Ul'dah, handing out fliers and calling all laborers to Ishgard to assist with a new housing project. M'yaako follows through on the offer and is provided food, shelter, and some extra gil in exchange for her efforts. Her hard work is noticed by some members of the machinist's guild and she's provided an offer to join them.Mentoring under an elderly elezen named Vallerin, she quickly picks up the ropes. She learns how to operate machinery, firearms, explosives and more. After finally finding something she enjoys, M'yaako delves into the job, even learning to create her own machinery and weapons.
